Pier Road, with its shops and waterside restaurants, is just a short stroll along a
captivating scenic riverside walk which links with the town centre. Here you will
find a seaside themed pedestrian precinct with a variety of independent shops as
well as the familiar High Street stores and a great choice of pubs and restaurants
to suit every taste.
Littlehampton Award Winning Beaches
Littlehampton has won the coveted Blue Flag and Seaside
Awards for the excellence and cleanliness of its beach and bathing
waters. Patrolled by lifeguards throughout the summer, the vast stretches
of gently sloping golden sand offer safe, carefree bathing for all the
family. Beaches are zoned and colour coded and free wristbands that
match the painted sections on the promenade guide lost children back
to their families, or assist our foreshore officer in re-uniting groups.
West Beach
Cross the river to the West Bank and the scene
changes again, magnificent sand dunes that are
designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest and
where an abundance of rare plants and wildlife exist
as nature intended.
